Time Will Take Us All

progdolphin Straying away from the pitfalls of modern deathcore, the hyperstimulation of wank-filled tech, and the overbearing mechanical groove into which ‘djent’ has trapped a once urgent percussive sound, Time Will Take Us All blends punishing ingredients in a sophisticated and exciting matter. Entheos has found a focus that has given rise to an experience that flourishes with end-to-end listenings. Favorite track: I Am the Void.
Bart

Bart I personally prefer the more aggressive songs, because the more morose songs tend to fall flat for me. That being said, the upbeat songs are a crazy array of high technical ability and controlled chaos. The talented vocalist is a solid rock as the music bounces from one direction to the next. Fans of tech death that don't just want dizzying scales and prog song structures will dig this. Favorite track: Absolute Zero.

dharmalogos This band really sounds like nobody else. The vocalist has four or five different voices. The riffs are unpredictable. The solos shred in a jazzy way. The songwriting is always a little odd and unsettling in a way that keeps you wondering what's gonna happen next. I'm not even sure what I'd call this - blackened melo-tech-djent death? I really like it.
Dave Bonta

Dave Bonta Their best album yet. Brilliant composition from start to finish. I'm 57. This is pretty much the future of metal as I used to imagine it. Favorite track: Oblivion.
Milo Bloom

Milo Bloom Outstanding album by a fantastic band that is not to be missed live. This is seriously a step up from their excellent prior releases. Buy it now and see them live at your first opportunity. Favorite track: Absolute Zero.
Obstacle of Affliction

Obstacle of Affliction Jaw dropping excellent!!!
Chaney's vocals are amazing. Definitely would not want to piss her off.
The compositions and execution are top tier.

Sorrow and regret Tormented mind swells One with the darkness, Pain like second skin. Forged by the calling Of a parallel life Where every being is not born to die. The voices in the distance, They call out for me Yes, they call me by name. As the light drains from my eyes And my memory dims Following down the spiral Still walking the earth The ghost of every memory That I have left behind Like sand, it runs through my fingers Colder than time With death’s still gaze cast toward me I am alive. Now I am pulling myself back out of the grave In the days I am living, this is not a life. We weren’t meant to be saved I will be the one you see when you die Burning in your mind Just like the flame I may have been breathing I was never alive So, remember these words I will be the one you see when you die. Daylight returns slowly. I’m losing sight of who I am In this madness The candle’s been burnt out For what seems like forever If there’s no end to life or death In this nightmare Do we live forever? And with every last breath in my lungs - There is still hope for us here In the mouth of madness. As the light drains from my eyes And as my memory dims Now I am alive. In dreams of the ocean Where space and time won’t matter. In dreams of the daylight I am alive. In death’s gaze I am alive. Watch every nightmare turn into a new reality. Mother, will I breathe again? Mother, is this life all I have? And in the end, the end is this life. Just a vision I will forget, Mother?

I have seen the end I am just beginning. This fear that has been growing Will not become the void in me. Days, like death Become stagnant And I begin questioning the very Things I have come to be. Years wasted on clocks Chasing the high of the time Don’t you remember What it had meant to me? I hear a voice within that whispers ‘time is wasting’ It’s the same voice within that drags me even further down I lie awake on ash Sorrow to remind me of what I had cherished And, in this moment I realize what I have lost Everything falls to blackness The air is thick with smoke My lungs fill In desperation I plead All that I have given All that I have bled Is it not enough to live in the end? Let light in The darkness calling my name Will I wake? Or will this silence become my grave? I feel the morning light on my face, is it over? The old days that I had forgotten Now rush to my head like a pattern And here I can feel it all Both end and beginning Where colors intertwine And makeshift memories Pull my spirit home. Life is just a distant dream here The days I’d waited to pass by I wish I could relive them all This time with awareness That this life is to be taken Not for granted, But in stride. And the patience that I’ve lacked Is only given to us all on borrowed time. If you take it all away Flesh and bone and blood What is it that you will have to give? Life, it seems Is a momentary gift We are but a brief light Flesh and bone and blood What is it you’ll have to give? And now my thoughts break And they bend This is not the end. And now my conscience begins to speak to me Alone with my regrets Sinking further in hell.

I am the void. A spell on my skin But I couldn’t help it It lives in my dreams Grind my teeth at night Fears, they take flight Right in front of me The words I speak Are giving them life A universe inside of me Still, I can’t see My way into the light In my head like a void Lost in the lapse of time You are the calm I am the world on fire I can feel the sunlight Draining us all. Every day is nothing But a death to me. Close your eyes And clear your head Wake the earth from below With the blood from your knife and if you move slowly One inch at a time Then you will always Remember to begin With the end in mind In my head like a void Lost in the lapse of time You are the calm I am the world on fire I can feel the sunlight draining us all every day is nothing But a death to me What would I give? To feel whole As all of my fears Begin to eat away at me.
